Razore was the codename for a web application which was being developed by a team of about four people. There were also around about twenty people working on ideas. In the end it was decided that we were to work on a method of totally eradicating spam from the internet including, but not limited to; domain parking, email spam, blog spam and websites that are created solely to direct people to other websites. An additional goal was to revolutionise search and the internet with a new paradigm in technologies.
The first designs were drawn up and the first bits of crude code were written some time in Spring 2004 and testing began before the same Summer.
Initial funding began by buying things and selling them on ebay for more appropriate prices, but even supplemented with money out of our personal pockets, funding this venture even for a month became difficult. Unfortunately, due to multiple problems with scalability, funding and a server crash the dream was never realised and the project was left to decay.
One day somebody else may be able to pick up the pieces, but for now due to work and other commitments, this is unlikely.
This wiki exists for no particular reason, the meaning of the domain name, just a memory.
