This is one of the movies that started it all. It has caused a number of legendary motion pictures, spin offs, in jokes, songs and a weekly TV show to come into production. the film itself took around five months to produce: three days over the beginning of May, a hiatus of four months and a day at the end of September.
The scriptwriting for the film took up a remarkably short space of time. It involved little writing, or indeed little resemblence of a script.
In April 2004, the filming began. It was expected to take around 2 weeks to complete, and all parties involved were very enthusiastic about the potential outcome. The first scenes were filmed without any issues (except for The Safe incident.) However, soon perfectionists in the team decided to refilm scene after scene; other strains were becoming evident in the team, particularly between two of the main actors, Daniel Marriott and Chris Mitchell. This resulted in Daniel Marriott leaving the team and throwing the filming into dissary.
Some time after completion the raw footage was lost. The film remained unedited until it was found.
Some four years after the loss, the secret tapes were found in a cupboard. They were played to selected audiences and recieved a very positive reaction. This lead to a plan to complete the editing of the film.
